How Much Will Each Manufacturer Charge for a Windows 7 Upgrade?

I heard that laptop manufacturers (HP, Acer etc) are going to offer a free upgrade to Windows 7 if you buy a laptop now, but that they will charge for postage and packing. Does anyone know how much each manufacturer will charge for them?

I just installed Windows 7 onto my laptop and so I went off in search of some good themes for me to use.

I have found a couple but they aren’t installing to the effect that screen shots promised they would.

Is there a proper way to install a 3rd party (custom) theme for Windows 7? Or are the screenshots with the cool looking windows and menus just hocus pocus to get the download numbers up?

I have the new Windows 7 Pro and the screen will occasionally just turn all blue and fuzzy then crash and restart. I know Windows 7 has compatibility issues with some hardware on computers and I want to fix this problem. I just upgraded to windows 7 x32 from vista and I haven’t noticed any speed/boot differences. If anything it lags more than before so right now I kinda wish I had kept vista. What do you think of windows 7?

I have two laptops and one PC which are all running Windows Vista at the moment. I see you can buy a Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade – 3 User Family Pack for £129.99 but I am not sure if this will be fine for my three computers or if I need to buy three Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium full versions. Any advice would be great.

I am getting a new laptop which will be eligible for a free windows 7 home premium upgrade.

I also have windows xp on my desktop, will I be able to use the same serial number on my laptop and desktop?

Also, I have read that windows 7 uses less memory, etc and is faster just like xp.

Hello. I just installed Windows 7. All of the videos that I watch show that you can see a screen preview by hovering over the icons of programs that are open on the super bar. However, when I try to do this, words pop up that says the title of the web page that is open and doesn’t show a picture of the web page that is open. I have tried looking through the options and I can’t figure it out. Can someone help me?
