i have a desktop pc and a macbook pro, will i be able to install windows 7 home premium on them? how has multiple installations worked in the past for vista and xp?

I dnt knw about Windows 7 Home Pre.
But in my laptop, i installed Vista Ultimate, Windows XP pro
Linux….
Its better to try ..

Well I hear there may be a Windows 7 ‘Family Pack’ (it’s all over the news sites) so you would be able to install that on more than one.

One activation per key, which gets tied to the computer on which it’s activated.
Supposedly there’s going to be some form of Family Pack where you may get 3 activations via one purchase, however.
But right now you’d need a separate key for each of your installations.

You are only allowed one installation at a time per product key, meaning if you buy one license you can only install it on one computer.
