windows 7

I have a new computer with no OS. I need to put windows 7 on it. I have the isofile of windows 7 on another computer. How do I burn this file to a dvd in a way that the computer will read it and be able to use it as a boot disc?

Download the program in the link below. No installation needed, the file is the program.

Select the .iso file and watch it go.

ImgBurn is a better ISO burning program than that one above is.

There’s a lot of info we need to answer this, what are your computer specs?

If you bought a computer knowing it had no OS and you don’t have one, you’re freaking stupid.

As far as I know you will need a torrent downloader such as utorrent, and you cant get this if you dont have an OS.

    Come on man be smart.

You could try to boot from disc, press F12 when its staring up and find “Boot from Disc”

What is your computer’s manufacture, your specs? We need to know these if you have no OS.

you can use winrar to extract the files and then burn using nero.

Assuming you can legally do so…
The same way you would any other (use the program of your choice).

But, considering that W7 RC expires in June (and the beta expires today)…why bother installing a self-deleting OS (well, GUI actually…)?

    Good Luck!

the best program to burn an iso would be nero. once u have it installed just run it and choose write image to disc and choose the iso file of win 7 then choose burn. u will need a blank dvd because i believe that windows 7 is about 3.33 gigs. they are also other alternative programs to nero. google them.

once u have the disc insert it into ur dvd drive (u will need a dvd drive) reboot ur computer and enter ur bios and boot from the dvd. the windows 7 installation is very straight forward.

if u dont have a dvd drive and only a cd drive u can download a verion of windows 7 that has been broken down to 669 mbs. it can be burned onto a regular cd. I’ve tried it and it works very good. to find it just go to thepiratebay.org and search for “windows tiny7″.

    hope i helped.
