windows 7 vs vista


infact i was using vista home premium on my pc a athlon xp 2800+ with 4 GB ram and then i just downloaded the win 7 beta and the performacne increase wasn’t that much noticeable then what the hell is microsoft making i hope win 7 isn’t a repackaged vista otherwise i’ll be going to mac.

    Ahh, you’ve discovered their little secret… it’s been optimized for the “bench marks” used by the reviewers :)

    In reality, though, it has the ability to run on crummy hardware a lot faster than Vista. Remove 3 GB of your RAM, so you only have 1 GB available, THEN compare to your Vista install, 7 should be a lot faster then. (both will be slower than they are NOW on your decent system, but 7 will “suck less” than vista does. ;)
