windows 7 ultimate

Hi, I am in the process of buying a storage solution for a home business which has 50 hard drive bays, I was wondering if windows 7 ultimate will support that many hard drives or if I would need to get a windows server operating system to support that number of hard drives?

I suggest you look into hardware raid systems. Maybe use raid-5 – with 5 hard drives together looking like 1 hard drive. Then add 2 more as spares in the system.

Usually such high end systems with so many hard drives or Raid Towers use SCSI.
