Running Windows 7 beta now on another machine and it is about the same as VISTA for what I do. Don’t notice increase in speed but I just do office work and kill time on Yahoo Answers, and cruise the internet.

I had no trouble when I gor VISTA from XP and no troubles with W7 so far, bu tit is a beta and subject to crashes and such. Final product will be better, I presume, as most are.

Windows 7 Beta is faster then Vista 32-bit SP1 (as proven by numerous independent groups). If you run a 32-bit system though and can’t use 64-bit then I would not switch to Win 7 B as it is 64-bit only (though it can run 32-bit apps). Plus “Win 7 B will become useless after Aug (just before Win 7 goes on sale).

windows 7 is better than Vista… And I hate windows products…

Ubuntu is better than both
