well, hopefully windows 7 will have less crap that windows has doing and will be overall better for gaming and everything else…so definitely get that! and some of the windows 7 computers will be able to run windows xp, like the macboot program
definitely outrule windows vista
by the time you’d get your computer windows xp would be becoming less and less popular…i suggest just getting windows 7

Well, Windows 7 is good i think because it has most of the speed that Windows XP has and all the good features from Windows Vista. Also, Windows 7 has support for DX11 (DirectX 11) but Windows XP will not. So if you want the best performance from DX11 games, and best graphics etc., I suggest Windows 7. Also the fact (not related to your question) but has greater overall underlying security.

windows 7 man. Its speed is fast like xp but has gaming perfomance of vista!
windows 7 is like anti vista (kinda), but overall it usage of ram is little compare to vista.

The gaming world is moving forward, so is Windows. It makes sense to go with Windows 7, especially since newer titles will likely be developed for Windows 7 rather than XP.
