I have the new Windows 7 Pro and the screen will occasionally just turn all blue and fuzzy then crash and restart. I know Windows 7 has compatibility issues with some hardware on computers and I want to fix this problem. I need to know where to get new Windows 7 Pro updates and FREE driver updates for my laptop: Model Toshiba L305D – S58985

I’m looking to try it out, can anyone tell me how to create a new partition and install windows 7 on it? And maybe some detail on windows 7, does it update itself, will my vista drivers work on it? (its a laptop)

I’ve got an opportunity to buy a sweet laptop right now for a likw $650, that would usually cost over $1000. I was planning on waiting to buy a new laptop until after Windows 7 comes out (holiday season this year). What’s your opinion? Should I swoop up on this great deal, or do you think I’ll feel behind the times if I don’t have Windows 7 at the turn of the new year?

what do you guys all think about the new windows 7 OS do you think that it is going to be in some ways the new XP or like VISTA only another name still doing/taking up all the RAM again i really wont peoples opinions on it

I’ve been looking into upgrading from a Vista to the new Windows 7. But while looking around, I discovered that you can get two different family packs: Home Premium Virtual Upgrade and Home Premium Upgrade, which is $50 cheaper. Could someone tell me what the difference is and if it’s worth it to get the ‘virtual’ edition?
What does a ‘virtual’ computer mean? Does this have anything to do with the whole touch-screen thing?

I’ve heard the the starter edition has left out a lot of things compared to the Home edition. And I’m not really loving my laptop. So, would it be better to buy a new laptop that has Windows 7, but in a starter edition? Or to grin and bear it with the laptop I’m using now, and buy a Windows 7 home edition disc?

Or should i wait till october 22nd to buy the laptop with windows 7 integrated?
