How to Create a Partition to Install Windows 7 Beta?

I’m looking to try it out, can anyone tell me how to create a new partition and install windows 7 on it? And maybe some detail on windows 7, does it update itself, will my vista drivers work on it? (its a laptop) Thanks! Share and Enjoy:

I want to install Windows 7 as an update. But I also want to buy the CD. Can I install it as an update from Vista if I buy the CD? I want to keep all my applications and files and I dont want to have to put everything on a back up drive. Thanks Share and Enjoy:
