No, you should not buy the new MacBook, simply because they are over-priced and whats the point of getting a Apple laptop to put a Windows OS on it!?

It would be better if you bought a normal laptop. Not a Mac.

!! - Remember Windows Vista 32-bit can only use upto 3GB RAM, Vista 64-bit can use 4GB+ RAM. - !!

I have the Sony Vaio FW11E, it has Vista 32-bit and 3GB RAM.
I paid around £700 brand new (2 months ago).

But I use VirtualBox to run my virtual machines; Mandriva Linux, Windows 7 (beta) and XP.

Basically get a laptop with 3GB of RAM, get VirtualBox and install whatever OS you want on it.
You don't need to get a Sony FW, if you don't want to ;)

For example, I can run Mandriva and XP at the same time, on top of Vista.
[From my experience, of dual-booting - I don't like it.]

Hope this helps! It has for me.

Sun Virtualbox

Sony Vaio FW11E

Windows 7 Build 6801 beta Eval.Version

Please BUY Windows 7 when it is released.

Here's my Q, with Answers!

Yeah you just put windows 7 on the macbook the way you put vista or xp on it, but its quite pointless getting a mac just to put windows on it, i would just get a normal laptop then do that.

Yes but Mac's OS is better. It is a good computer by its self.

Get a windows machine. Why buy a mac and try and put windows on it when you can just go buy windows?

Macs are terribly overpriced so I would say it is not worth it, especially for what you want to do. Mac is a terrible platform for gaming. And powerpoint and word are microsoft applications.
