I have been using windows computers day after day for about 7 years now and I really like windows. I have a vista. and I have seen the blue screen of death once and I thought that it would never happen. By the way all the bad Rumours about vista isn’t true. Every OS crashes vista isn’t any worse than XP or Mac OS X. Anyway I’m sticking with vista and any other os Microsoft puts out. BUT THE QUESTION IS> HAVE YOU EVER HAD THE BLUE SCREEN OF DEETH IN VISTA. AND IF YES HOW MANY TIMES?

Yes, three times. Every OS does crash, but Vista in general tends to be more unstable than most other OS’s, especially XP. I used XP every day for many years without getting the blue screen of death. I switch to Vista, and within six months I get it three times.

i’ve seen the blue screen of death about five times now (by the way, i have vista too). it only started happening to me within the last couple of weeks (my computer is about 6 months old) and it happens when i try to play music videos in iTunes, and it happened earlier today when i finished installing AIM and was trying to open it for the first time. i know why it usually happens (Bluescreens can be caused by poorly written device drivers, faulty memory, a corrupt registry, an incompatible Dynamic-link library (DLL), or the computer overheating)*, but i can’t figure out why it is happening to mine.

seen it twice at school, they have vista now. and I’ve only used them 3 times.
my two computers, a desktop and laptop,
my laptop -XP SP2, none
Desktop- XP SP1, 2
Desktop (after 1st reformat), XP SP2, 9 (i think its mcafee’s fault)
Desktop (after 2nd reformat), XP SP2, none so far (its been 2 years)
from what I read in the news media about vista, and my experience using it, I don’t have very high opinion about vista. I like the new style, though.
