Microsoft Windows 7


What does “windows 7 may be Microsoft’s last operating system based on the desktop” mean? I can’t envision everyone having simply a monitor plugged into the internet “cloud” where all the computing takes place.

    It means that it will be the last on a desktop. Windows 8 and 9 and so forth will possibly be only on the laptop.
