I am planning to buying a new gaming computer and i was wondering if i should go head and buy windows vista 64 bit or download the beta of windows 7 64 bit
Or i there 64 bit XP cause i heard that windows vista is garbage

    Well Beta does mean their could be some problems. Stick with Vista until 7 is more stable.

    Never get a new O/S until Service Pack 1 is out.

    I have heard that Windows 7 is perfect and ready to go… I would go with it.

    Beta means that is for testing purposes only. You can not use it as your OS. In August this year you will not be able to use windows 7 beta any more. In 2010 it will come out officially and you can purchase it and use it as your main OS. Until then, just install it on a second partition next to windows xp or vista and test it out.
