windows 7
fetusxeater asked:

I want to install it to my old computer, but I don’t want to install it if there’s a High chance that its going to mess it up really bad.

I’m pretty sure i can fix small problems, but.. you know.
My old computer is about 3 years old,
it’s running XP, but there’s this tag on
it that says “designed for windows
XP, Vista capable” and my the computer
meets all the requirements for Windows
7.

Can’t answer without knowing what you have; CPU, hard drive space, amount of RAM. If the old one cannot run Vista odds are Windows 7 will not work any better.

I guess the really short answer is if you are in doubt, don’t’.

However, don’t go with the minimums with this OS. You need a DVD-RW drive to create the disk and install the OS. 2GB of RAM should be good. At the minimum, a 40GB hard drive – bigger is better. You should have a DVI video card of some kind and not an analog (VGA).
