Aw, xp is going out support soon.. i got xp on my other computer.. i like it better then vista..

Hi. Windows 7 is almost identical to Vista. You can upgrade easily but you will need a 64 bit system.

They’ll keep updating it for at least a year or two after vista is ended. Microsoft ended XP in June and they plan to keep updating it and offering support at least until windows 7 is released.

With each new release, the support times for the old release get longer and longer. Vista is good for at least the next 12 years, no worries. They will support XP until 2015, no matter what they say now…

Vista will still stay for quite some time. The same case is still happening with XP — even after 2 years since Vista was released, Microsoft is still supporting it because a lot of schools + businesses still use it.
In other related news, XP will stay till June 30 next year. Yay.

vista is here to stay for a couple of years atleast. and in my experience your laptop is more likely to go out of date before your OS will
